Because I'M the Traitor

I betrayed you
because I'm the traitor
I insulted you
because I'm the traitor

I said goodbye
I walked away
I let you go
because I'm the traitor

I supported you
I forgave you
I helped you
because I'm the traitor

I loved you
I cherished you
I saw you through
because I'm the traitor

you talked to me
you held my hand
I took a stand
because I'm the traitor

I give up
get a life
get over it
because I'm the traitor

I'm moving on
I'm growing skin
I won't cry
because I'm the traitor

I'm not worried
I'm not scared
I have real friends
because I'm the traitor

Friends who trust me
friends who love me
friends who care
because I'm the traitor

Now I'm done
I'm gone for good
enjoy your mask
because I'm the traitor

Have a great life
get some help
put away that mask
because I'm the traitor

Good riddens
toodaloo
so long
I'm through

...because I'm the traitor.
