Because I Love You
you turn and ask me why did i chose you
i reply you are the only one i want in my life
you then ask why i committed myself to you
i reply baby i want you to be my wife
i have met a lot of people over the years
but strangely none was able to capture my heart and soul
and when i met you i realized we were meant to be
i wanted to be with you until i got old
times spent together are precious memories i cherish
but the crazy moments spent together i cherish more
and a love such as this one that we possess
could never be evil its 100% pure
i never have to question your emotions
even the blind can see that it is real
and i never have to be jealous or insecure
because i know exactly how you feel
at nights lying in bed all i do is stare at your face
and wonder how did i get such an angel to be mine
all my life i thought i was truly cursed by the devil
now i know I’m blessed because you were my sign
you were so jealous i don’t know why
when for father’s day your son called me dad
but in the end you felt a sense of relief in your stomach
i was accepted by your little man and I was so glad
from the start i promised to always make you happy
to you I’ll always stay honest and true
so the next time you wonder why u were chosen
i want you to know it’s because i love you
