Because I Live

Loving you is living like it's eternal spring, with time, so precious, that missing a moment with you is like dying awhile; you're like a honey that does not spoil, and I'm a bee that feasts on your eternal sweetness." - Me

Because I live, I'll live like a tree in spring,
with robust roots that make the waters flow;
With flowers that make the wild bees sing,
and golden fruits that make the horizon glow.

I'll love you like it's the end of days,
as if tomorrow halts the flow of time,
and today's the last time to show my ways
when my golden chances still rhyme.

I'll cherish you like an oil-pumping well
that flows the spring that sustains my life.
A time with you is gold spent so well.
I'll bless the day that you'll become my wife.

If tomorrow brings the scourge of time,
I'll still cherish you like the pupil of my eye;
For, loving you so well is not a crime.
Should I lose you, I would rather die.

For, honey, my love, you are so sweet;
Sweet as locust honey in height of spring.
My love for you is willing to kiss your feet;
For, matchless is the love you bring.
