Mesmerized, she stood still...observing Unsure of what to expect next She is scared but not afraid Shall I pet him, she asks herself Will he fly away if I move Warmth is the only thing the butterfly feels Shall I fly away, he asks himself Will she run away if I fly As they both stare - frozen Danger never exists They share a wonderful moment Beauty unfolds This is my granddaughter Ava Rose. My daughter captured this beautiful moment.
