Beauty So Rare

A blue so blue appeared in the sky
purer than the blue of a maiden's eye
Poking a hole through puff-clouds billowy white
its majesty moving those who prize sight

I wonder if it knows, as I marvel in awe
at its beauty so rare, no unperceived flaw
Or is its struggle to emerge so all-consuming
naivete yet untarnished ~ pristine, unassuming

Moments that curl around the beauty of day, always leave me searching for the right words to say. I am in complete awe. It's truly magical indeed, in so many wonderful ways. My heart is smiling. :) Brandy

I love the rhyme you created in your comment, Brandy. It's far superior to my poem's 'jingle.' Thank you for your encouragement, and keep smiling! Let Laughter Linger, gw

Smashing, Gershon. Could you send some of that purest blue my way. We’ve got dirty grey today in the UK. Terry

I'll only send you one dab of blue though, Terry. ... If I send two, you'll get the blues. (Groan.) Cheers, Gershon

Almost as if the clouds separate in a curtain call....brilliant imagery Gershon.

I recently saw a sight like the one so elegantly described here, Gershon. It occurred after a storm, and was lovely indeed. This beauty is a fave. :)

Lovely Gershon, those of us who are lucky to have the gift of eyesight would agree the sky of blue is a wondrous delight… Belle
