I awoke with fragrant petals in my hair, To see the gay hummingbirds hovering there, In the prettiest colors that I've yet seen, Among the knockout roses, on my garden green, Humming and dancing, in the drunken summer sun, And I relaxed under blue skies, to enjoy the fun!

Can I join you in the garden with the scent of roses and the hummingbirds? I agree - a garden can make us feel "drunken" by saturating us with beauty. I have 32 rose bushes all over the yard and the hummingbirds visit all the time. Lovely poem Evelyn
