Beauty of Nature

The bright sky tinged with cobalt hue, shines like crystal face in dawn’s glow, hanging clouds on smoky hills lie. The sparkling stream mirrors sky’s blue, pearls glisten on its surging flow, loops in far valley I descry. The bent banks spread jade carpet new, spruce trees stand high in verdant row, the frame of scene they beautify. Nature’s splendor enthralls the sight, suffuses my mind with delight. ___________ June 1, 2023 Image chosen : #2 Syllable count : 8 per line (HMS) Rhyme checked with rhymezone.com Contest : Trilonnet Sponsored by : Joseph May
