Beauty Lives

Beauty Lives

OH, how my heart does bleed,
For the sadness, I see in your life
And for all the things I hear
That prevents you having a wife

Please don’t take this wrong
I know you can’t help your way
But women are so many things,
You’d discover if they would just stay

I listened to you for quite a long while,
And you are sure of very little blame
Buti I heard so much more than just that..
And I believe it such a shame

You are so busy being “attracted”
you cannot gain what you seek
Or even to see their real beauty
The sadness makes me weep

I hope the best for you
But I see you as such a lost soul
I hope you find your way soon
And finally come in from the cold

When surface beauty begins to fade
And the reality of time calls in its due
I hope and pray you have learned
True beauty can only live deep within you
