Beauty in a dark world
Statuesque she stood there silently,
Lighting up the world with her divine beauty.
It’s a beautiful light in a cold dark world,
That guides me to you when I am in need of sincerity.
You are a star;
That is what you are.
I would travel near and far,
To once more have you hold me and love me in the dark.
I knew she had to go,
But I still had hope within my soul.
I am once more left in the dark,
Now that her love has died and she is gone.
