Beauty and Light

Dusk was falling... The butterflies twinkled in to nothing For, in twilight, beauty was calling The strangest things to see... in a world... Neither day Neither night Beauty and light Butterflies, so blue, in twilight... Became another hue, then twinkled in the night Iridescent birds glowed For, at twilight Being neither day Neither night Strangest magic bestowed Clouds, rosy red and pink The sun, dipping down Becoming a night The stars beginning to blink Beauty and light In the land of beauty and light Neither day Neither night The strangest things could be seen Butterflies of every hue Birds aglow In a world... I wanted to show I wanted to show you
