Beauty and Diversity

Why I ask would I wait for spring
laden with the vibrant symphony?
If velvet green curtain is all it brings,
with lark and jay playing the same melody!

Why would I revere the palette supreme,
the strokes of the brush divine?
If all of us were tall, light and lean
with perfect pearls in each smile!

I know why there’s no beauty in bloodshed
Because it’s just monochromatic red!

Sara, another perspective on spring. Your palette of colors includes red, a primary color. Quite a contrast to the abundance of verdancy throughout your canvas. The last two lines make your poem pop. All the best, Sonia.
