Beauty
They make special pants,
to get that rear to pop.
They make special bras,
to plump you up on top.
Can't fit in that blouse?
Girdle that belly.
Can't fit in that skirt?
Spanx up that jelly.
Thicken up that hair,
with a new extension.
Try out some color,
for extra attention.
Eye color can change,
and thickness of lashes.
Can even change teeth,
in the smile that flashes.
We're working so hard,
to look better outside.
The message we miss,
is the damage applied.
Do not be consumed,
by the way that you look.
How boring a read,
would be your life's book.
The "beauty" these days,
is just a deception.
The thing that should change,
is beauty's perception.
