Beauty

The sky dreary I guess some would call it scary I think it's beautiful In its own way Watching the light fade away Empty tree branches sway Whispering to stay Cold chill Sits so still There's a peace in the cold Standing there Watching it hold It doesn't lack beauty If you truly see The beauty gleams In everything

Aww, thank you! Most of my family pretty much hates when it's rainy or dreary. So I decided to write a poem about how beautiful it can be if you just really look at it. :D

It's all in your perspective. I like how you try to find the beauty in things that most would call "scary" or "unattractive". There's a Twilight Zone episode I watched called The Eye of the Beholder... really makes you think! Beautiful poem...

:O I saw that episode! (The old Twilight Zone is way better) Yeah, I usually like to look at it all from different angles. What may look scary can actually be beautiful if you just open your eyes to see it.

Good one. Caleah, yes, beauty could be a decision and lies in the eye of the beholder, they say.
