Beauty

As I looked out along the river,
I saw the twinkling of lights.

It reminded me of the stars,
shining up at night.

Walking along the sand
I stop and just stand.

I'm in awe just watching the amazing sight.

There's an abundance of beauty,
For all of us to see

But right then; standing there,
It was all just for me.
