Beauty

If beauty were but a whisper then only you would hear it,
If beauty were to ever die out it would live on in your spirit,
If beauty were to ever fall from grace in your arms it would stay,
If beauty were a simple rose it would belong in your bouquet,
If beauty were the stars then I would pick each one with care,
If beauty were the breathes we take I would cherish the air,
If beauty were a shadow then your reflection it would follow,
If beauty were an empty tree then only you would know how hollow,
If beauty were a melody as every note its harmony would grow,
If beauty were a secret then there is something you should know,
Of these magnificent wonders beauty is a such a rarity to view,
For in truth the real beauty of it all...is you.
