Beauty
Beauty is real
Beauty is pain
It isn’t perfection, it’s the cracks and the stains
Beauty isn’t polished
Beauty isn’t tame
It’s the old photo inside a broken picture frame
Beauty doesn’t age
Can’t keep it in a cage
It’ll bloom through the cracks of a concrete stage
Beauty is grit
It says not to quit
It keeps your faith going in the life of the fit
It’s the silver in your hair
It’s the makeup that we wear
It’s the love that we share
Living life without a care
Beauty is real
Beauty is pain
And once it touches you, you’ll never be the same.
