Beauty

Beauty is not in size and shape
Nor in colour and looks,
It is in the heart and mind
Not in Snow-white’s story book.
Beauty is not a fairy tale
Of Cinderela’s lost slipper,
Nor in a Sleeping Beauty
With a spell cast on her:
These are but fairy tales
A thought, our mind to stir.
Beauty is like Lear’s daughter
Or the ‘Shrew’ that was tamed,
 Deeds of women like these
Has beauty truly famed.
