Beauty
Beauty

Beauty is but skin deep.
The deepest beauty is in the soul to keep.
For in spite of the eyes of the beholder, a beautiful countenance can be fake and fickle.
Beauty is a thing of youth.
It can bewitch one and steal the truth.
For in the eyes of the shallow, forsaken is the essence of the real and hallowed.
Beauty can be elusive and wild.
It's in the heart of a warrior and the smile of a child; for beauty in this world is ours to make, and our outlook and perception is all it takes.
Beauty is everywhere and nowhere.
It's in the deepest void and in hearts broken;
It can fly high and make us blind;
It can save our souls and make us found;
It can create magic and mystery and blessings untold, for true inner beauty is the very best, the brave and the bold.
