Beauty
Beauty isn't measured
in weight or size,
Isn't measured in
hair or eyes,
Isn't measured in wisdom,
or lack, thereof,
Isn't judged by
God above,
Not weighed in
truth or lies,
Nor qualified by
the clothes one buys...
It's an inner essence
one grants oneself,
Nothing that can be
bought off the shelf,
Funny thing is,
though free it is,
It's hard to find,
someone with his
Ability to afford such grace,
So among mankind,
There's but a trace,
Of those who's beauty
Is real and true,
But one of those,
Thank God,
is you.
