Beautifully Ignorant

sometimes I ponder our existence
are we just performing a play?
life's such a strange experience
and plenty crazy, I must say
      filled with insignificant tasks
      financing mediocre goals
      everyone wearing different masks
in an effort to hide our souls
each of us searches for meaning
with a different definition of essential
wondering what makes up our inner being
and what is genuinely vital
maybe we're not meant to know the answer
      just theories insane and bountiful
since each life has a unique flavor
      making our ignorance beautiful

Everyone views life differently, I like this view you have penned because those same questions often roam around in my head. I don't know who it was that said "Ignorance is bliss" but your poem says it so much better. Your are very talented my friend.
