Beautiful Salvation

BEAUTIFUL SALVATION Resting in the riches that God’s love provides, Knowing that His presence ever more abides, Singing every day as I walk along the way. Crying tears of joy because Christ loved me so, Feeling love and comfort in life’s deepest woe-- Beautiful salvation, I want it to show; Christ is my friend, I know. Trying to obey Him as His word commands, Yielding all to Jesus as His will demands. Praising Him with glee, for He’s ever close to me. Letting in His Spirit to my life infill, Casting out the sins of self and stubborn will-- Beautiful salvation, it draws me each day Nearer His side and way. These words written to “Beautiful Ohio.”
