Beautiful Depression

What is it that is wrong with me
If you would allow I'll easily explain
There's a monster named depression
That is living inside my brain

A fierce warrior you can't defeat
Against happiness it'll always win
Happiness would be better off
To leave and never return again

Eliminating it's enemy emotions
My depression the last to remain
So that it can build a great kingdom
And live peacefully inside my brain

My depression I promise is loyal
It has sworn to never go away
At last my beautiful depression
I believe has come home to stay in
