Beautiful Confusion

Its beautiful to be in confusion
To not know the knowing
To still find in life a beautiful awe

So many people know
How to paint their canvas
But I'm happy to paint just an outline once more

Life can be darker than ourselves
I do not offer a complete painting
I do not want to be so open and free

For in doing so
Society takes my innocence
And rips away the wonder of me

You have to refrain
From telling the world
Each beauty that falls upon your time

Instead take it into your heart
From there it will grow in glory
There it can perfectly shine

Interesting stance...I've often felt that myself. I partciulalrly liked the line, "Each beauty that falls upon your time."
