Beautiful 'But' Ugly

The beautiful ocean with it's roaming waves
The ugly trash, oil slicks and dying fish

The beautiful clouds of blue when I look up
The ugly haze and smog the air looks of smut

The beautiful rain forest with endless life
The ugly money mongrel crawling like lice

The beautiful Twin Towers reaching for the sky
The ugly rubble and waste as people cry

The beautiful child so full of life
The ugly ill mind that gives him strife

The beautiful man who loved and healed, our Christ
The ugly mob who crucified him for a price

When will we as a human race
                         Turn Ugly into Beauty
and learn to embrace and stop the disgrace?

If not for the ugly mob we would still be in a state of being unforgiven. Fortunately one day soon all of the ugliness will be transformed and we will enjoy a new world and live in a city filled with His light.

This is very true. You sound so much like my Father. He has a very strong faith (preacher) and taught me well on the New World. Thank you.

Like the joy a little child can bring can at the same time break your heart with the thoughts of what kind of world they live in. Every positive has a negative. Does that suck or what! :) Peace. :)

Yes I agree. What gets me is most of the negative is done by us the people and it could be stopped but money always seems to get in the way. Thank you for your comment.

So very true, Tammy! We have been given so many beautiful things, and yet many are those who mess them up, either through ignorance or else for greed. Thank you for raising awareness! #7 All the best. // paul

Thank you Paul for the comment. Yes we do tend to mess a lot of things up.
