Beat the hollow drum
Beat til the days done
I fear not the sound you stir
Yet I know thou art near
Beat forever and a day
The love I wanted ran away
Battle battle sling and bow
Fight for right, when there is none
Beat beat the hollow drum
Just as the battle never won
