When the world abandons you, And leaves you all alone, Don't throw yourself away, Don't let yourself be thrown. Be your own best friend, And never let yourself down, Even when life gets tough, And tries to make you drown. You are your own hero, Your strength will carry you through, You understand yourself better, Than anyone else could ever do. You've suffered and you've struggled, But you keep on going strong, So don't give up on yourself, Even if the world goes wrong. When people say you're useless, Just remember these words instead, "You're enough, you're worthy of love, You're beautiful," should be said. Never ever abandon yourself, That's the most cruel thing to do, Be your own hero, always, And see yourself through and through.
