Be True To Yourself

Knock down the barrier between us now
Powerless in your arms of I-need-you-now
Feeling alone in a crowd of people, you know?
I am wandering in the shade of the sun's glow

It's hidden in plain sight -
Your love and your might
It's forbidden in ignorant pride
Happiness is my only joyride

Relieve me from the urge to grieve
Believe in me while I breathe at ease
I watch you as you pack up and leave
I need you to be true to yourself please

Release your fantasy
Unleash from captivity
Free your mind of obscurity
Be not left behind in misery

Marinate my soul with marvelous wonder
Deliver my low spirit from oblivious disaster
Smoke away my sorrow and be my cannabis-like marrow
Be the good side effects of marijuana for a better tomorrow
