Be the Rain

I was the rain
that gave you bows.
The one that showered
your body with love and
cleansed your woes!
I've filled your heart
with many dreams,
yet to death you ran
so it seemed?!
You've dreamt of a life
with colorful smiles,
I was the angel out of reach
just too many miles!
Life begins sometimes with only a drip.
Nothing has been left for
this angel to even sip!
In every rain drop you bare,
Little boxes of gifts I've poured,
little boxes of gifts I've shared!
"Be the rain", you've self proclaimed?!
Well my dear, you've left your
sweet angel...unnamed!!!
