Open your eyes To the joy of living. Let today be the day When you see things anew. Open your mind To the beauty of existence For life is precious And it belongs to you. Open your arms To receive all the blessings So freely given By the powers above. Value your own worth And the worth of other's. And let your heart Be open to love.

This poem touches on what I call the great lie of unhappiness! So many people's happiness is conditional, tied to future achievements of a tomorrow that never comes. When in reality there is no such thing as tomorrow, and yesterday is gone forever, there is only now and our lives are just one big long now stretched from birth to death. We cannot afford to make our happiness conditional to the unreality of dreams, but should grasp at happiness first then our dreams will follow soon after:)
