Be Careful With Me

Be careful should you say those words to me;
Do not use them casually;
To me, their meaning is quite profound,
So, don’t just throw those words around.

Be careful should you attempt to touch my heart;
It doesn’t mend quickly when torn apart;
When I give me heart you get my whole soul, too,
So, if you touch my heart make it a touch that’s true.

Be careful should you decide to share my bed;
If you want casual sex, try another instead;
The physical and emotional, to me, connect,
So, if you’re not real sure, don’t go there yet.

Be careful with me and I will be careful in return;
Lessons being otherwise have already been learned.

I say this because of this line--"If you want casual sex, try another instead"-- I am other guy she'd run too..:-) Cant lie brother!! I LOVED this poem and it will find its way to my favs!!
