Be

As trust loses its power,
Attacking, comes betrayal to devour,
Lying under all our lies,
An angelic face in disguise,

Finding beauty nowhere
But in the souls of sin,
Letting go of the truth,
As we watch dishonesty win,

Drenched with resentment as we lose,
For we still believe that we are the ones that choose;
The real meaning of destiny has been forgotten,

Guilt, as we repent,
Pretending to sympathize
While within us we resent;
Why don’t we make use of what God has sent?

Barren fields in which
Nothing but hatred is planted,
Ask the devil for what you wish,
And you will have it granted,

We are, what we don’t want to be,
We’re seeing, what we don’t wish to see…
Lying to ourselves,
We continuously say
We’re controlled by destiny,

Today, tomorrow, and the day after,
Living in our reminiscences,
As days begin to move faster,
We place ourselves in the middle…between
Where we were, and where
We want to be…

Void,
That’s what we are, and
That’s what we will always be…
