Battle Scars

How do you
Put in words
The poison that
Spills inside
Filling your heart
Untill it bursts.
No more tears
Left to cry
Fighting a war
you can not win
in a nightmare
That will never die.

Empty eyes have
No reflection
Not much left
Before I break.
Falling fast with
No protection.
Consuming all
That you are
Growing deeper
Within
Alone...you bare
The battle scar.

I've been there...had to throw a patch over my scars...and keep on going. Thanks for sharing.
