Battle of the New and Old Me

This anger that has bubbled up inside of me is getting hard to contain,
My thoughts are getting harder to maintain,
Its gotten harder just trying to stay sane.
I've bolted up my door,
But those same emotions are seeping back in that's for sure,
I don't want to go back to who I was before.
I've been through so much,
It would be impossible to recall all the stuff.
Back then I couldn't bear to look at myself in the mirror,
But I have changed the things that are important are now much more clearer.

Volatility is a form of pure passion, wild and dangerous, yet also heats our very souls. To refine, direct our passions to constructive purpose can be so very stressful, I understand this struggle Poetess...J.A.B.

I some times weep over past battles I have lost with my mind... But am always looking forward to do better... Each moment is precious.

Each battle is often a days journey. I've only in the last decade conquered most of mine..A7
