Battle of My Mind
Losing my self inside
Demons that used to hide
Present in my everyday life
Trying to prevent my ride
These demons thrive
Grabbed a holy cross
Ready to strive
Prevent the demons from their thrive
Life doesn’t last forever
No longer can I hide
With these demon by my side
Fighting these demons till I die
Soon they’ll want to hide
Light so strong I’ll survive
Cause I found Jesus by my side
There the whole time
Waiting for me to stand up and shine
Taking his hand in mine
That holy light is truly divine
Everyday chills run down my spine
Constant battle till the end of time
These demons
Leading me to my prime
It’s my life and I shall shine
To leave behind a shrine
For those to pray at any time
