Basking Turtle

I'm camped on the shoreline in a very thick bog area,
surrounded by sounds of crickets, frogs and other voices of nature.
A turtle basks just above the water's surface.
For hours I relax and peacefully view it,
but alas, this is all in my imagination.
The turtle has been basking in its large fish tank aquarium,
where at times I will gaze upon it for hours, my mind a wandering

Good read. No doubt both of you were dreaming of the bog's wild shoreline. Have you ever listened to Pink Floyd's Grandchester Meadows? Give it a go and tell me if it doesn't fit your piece.

I'm on what I refer to as "winter vacation" Andrea. I'm not a big fan of working construction during the winter months, so I save my pennies during the warmer working months and just kick back for the winter...sometimes life is good. Hope you are well.
