had a lot of nerve
would be with much vive and verve

heard that when at bat

player pulled a stunt
for a short bat had to hunt
bragged about his bunt
possessed a great goal
his hitting would take its toll

around bases stride
home run had hit with much pride

to his team added a spark
hit ball out of park
play baseball does love
performance was way above
received golden glove

team had saved a lot of loot
when they substitute
