Barriers

Thoughts floating in my mouth;
Emotions stick to my tongue.
Would you hear my words anyway?
Silence remains.

I love all of your poems. Some are more painful to read than others. I hope it helps to 'put it out there'. But to answer this one ... 'Would you hear my words anyway?' There's only one way to find out. You arrange the date this time. A time and place of your choosing. We'll both agree to be open, honest, and slow to take offense. Our love can withstand this. It already has. Now, let's watch it flourish and grow even stronger. Read my updated poem, 'Someday'.
