Baring Light

Fighting with myself in the
battles of my mind baring
light flying sparks breaking
free from these mental
prison bars it takes a lot to
discover who we truly are
with all the voices in the
dark trying to lead us
astray praying to God that
he shows us the right
pathway the sweet
blessings of a new day is
what keeps me wanting to
stay and finish off what we
started the old me is long
gone and departed I'm a
Father on a mission I see
through eyes of reason no
mental collisions born to
create legions of warriors
to defend the once brave
the broken and the fallen
people of to day to them I
state let yourselves be
great for if Greatness is
believed Greatness shall be
achieved new goals and
aspirations conceived its
now time we fulfill our
destinies. Baring light to
see the truth amongst all
the lies I find myself
questioning as to why we
still try fighting the wars
within our minds fear in
disguise the reason for our
spiritual demise with all
this pain inside I just cry
Baring Light.
