Barely Awake

My eyes wont concentrait on a thing
my ears might start to even ring
been up all dang night
thank god mom and dad didnt have another fight
three a.m roled by
when to my friends i finally said goodbye
down to my room i trudged
and felt my way along the reg
fell into my bed
to sleep, pillows beneath my head
close my eyes for a miniute
and the alarm clock is ringing, isnt it?
wake, barely wanting to move
throw on cloths, in my still dark room
glance at the freaking clock
it's 5 o god dang clock
slip upstairs
to go and brush out my hair
slide on my shoes
and make my rounds through the rooms
grab my bag
rub my eyes real bad
yawn once again
then go out the door again
another morning
another day
and yet im barely awake
