Barbie

Barbie doll
on the television screen
who ever said you were a beauty queen?
All fake, nothing real
A hollow, plastic shell
with nothing inside where it counts
Enjoy as they cut your face out of magazines
relish the moment when you step on the red carpet
and everybody screams
Enjoy it all while it lasts
as with time beauty fades
and you’ll die stuck inside
a lonely grave
