Bar Tenders Life

They serve us cold drinks
as their title says.
They here stories
from young ones
and old ones.
Most are sad stories
about broken hearts
but listen with open ears.
They give advice
and keep us safe
knowing you had enough.
Some are like member of family
but most care for their paitrans
and listen with open ears.
The laugh and smile
with our joys in life.
The are special ones
who go home to their one
and enjoy home time
with that one
knowing at times
they are better off than someone
who has no one.
