Baptized In the Storm

Well now it’s too late, I’ve been baptized My naiveness torn apart in the storm And everything fragile’s been broken Learned not to count on a place safe and warm Yeah yeah yeah you know I’ve been baptized My heart, torn apart in the storm My soul, it has been bound and broken Kinda wish I had never been born Yeah you know it’ll take you, ah-ah-all of the strength you have Just to make it through and there’s no promise to you On what will come to be of any of the dreams that you’ve had Ain’t no white light coming to take me Don’t even think that one really exists If there was, would’ve already saved me When I was immersed in my innocence Yeah yeah yeah you know I’ve been baptized My heart, torn apart in the storm My soul, it has been bound and broken Kinda wish I had never been born Yeah you know it’ll take you, ah-ah-all of the strength you have Just to make it through and there’s no promise to you On what will come to be of any of the dreams that you’ve had Yeah in this world you better have boots on Cuz you know that it's all getting deep The cons and confusers in season There is nothing sacred you’ll keep Yeah yeah yeah you know I’ve been baptized My heart, torn apart in the storm My soul, it has been bound and broken Kinda wish I had never been born Yeah you know it’ll take you, ah-ah-all of the strength you have Just to make it through and there’s no promise to you On what will come to be of any of the dreams that you’ve had
