Banned In Broken Barn

Well I was born to boogie, boogie days and boogie nights,
but boogie just got banned right here in Broken Barn, you see,
my little village home has shown a vile and vicious streak
by banning what a homey in their midst was born to do.
And did I do what I was born to do? Indeed I did!

Now Broken Barn is in the state of Maine. It did allow
a dance or two a day when done with decency in mind
and other subtle body parts kept under wrap in pants.
Imagine you were banned from doing what you're born to do!
I know, you can't imagine what is banned in Broken Barn.

Well drive to Broken Barn with radio a-blarin' out
a tribal tappin' type of tune that you cannot refuse;
you'll boogie in your car then beg to boogie on the street,
but harsh the hand of 'ban the dance,' it grabs you by the arm
and leads you to the curb; NO, kicks you to the curb of 'banned.'

And now you CAN imagine you were banned in Broken Barn.
