Bamboo Hollow

Bamboo Hollow

There’s a place tucked away
Nestled up against the Creek
Where the Clover runs wild
‘Neath a Bamboo Canopy
Where life is in rhythm
With the Ever-Changing Tide
The Low Buzz of the Bees
And the Hum of Dragonflies
The Notes of Nature’s Song
Are carried along the Breeze
Dancing with the Fragrance
Of the Sweet Satsuma Trees
The Steady to and Fro
The Balance The Beat The Time
The Magic Melody
The Beautiful Drum of Life

Thank you John. It is beautiful. My grandparents built this little house on the creek back in 1984. Unfortunately, they have both passed away. I moved in a couple of years ago, and I love it here. I can still feel both of them here. It’s a wonderful thing. I’m very lucky. Thank you for taking the time to read my poem. Take care.
