Balloon Tears

Cried when I lost a balloon.
Then found out they could fly!
All the balloons I've set free,
  Have come back to me!
Chased me down from beyond the trees.
  Strings falling with the air,
  Followed me from everywhere!
  None were lost at sea!
They just couldn't help but follow me!
Some went to children as fun bobbing friends,
  Until they popped!
  At their very end.
