Ballerina
Awe inspiring in poise and dance,
Prima ballerina so true,
You demand more than a glance,
Eyes can’t look away from you.
Pirouettes are in perfect time,
Motions of unique artistry,
Poetry in flawless rhyme,
Striking dance done perfectly.
A dance of utopian dreams,
Romantic vision that lives on,
Melodic as bubbling streams,
Elegant as a young swan.
Ballerina, upon your toes,
Ballerina, beautiful pose,
Ballerina, float and twirl,
Ballet artist; lovely girl.
