Bad Memory

Years of my life is missing lost when the never ending sadness struck. And I always priced myself on remembering important thing yet I never chose to remember you before. So yes I can't remember the first time we met, nor can I bring to mind how our nicknames began. Vague memories of the first time we truly became friends can come to mind, but I've always been bad with remembering happy moments. Meaning I remember telling you that I relapsed and when you helped bandage me up. My heart still flutters when I remember the first time you said you loved me, even if you denied it was in that way. The time we first kissed haunts my memory even though we were sad minutes before. And I'm scared that one day these memories will fade, just like they have countless times before. But for now on I plan on making memories... even if I don't remember them two years from now.
