Bad Day
Bad Day
A quiver in my stomach,
A rattle in my head.
A twitch in my eye,
Mind full of lead.
A limp in my walk,
A shudder in my step.
A catch in my arm,
Running out of pep.
Exhausted is my mind,
Spent is my brain.
Heavy are my eyelids,
Clogged are my veins,
Rattled are my senses,
Deaf in one ear.
To have another bad day,
Is my greatest fear.
