Bad Day

Bad Day

A quiver in my stomach,
A rattle in my head.
A twitch in my eye,
Mind full of lead.
A limp in my walk,
A shudder in my step.
A catch in my arm,
Running out of pep.
Exhausted is my mind,
Spent is my brain.
Heavy are my eyelids,
Clogged are my veins,
Rattled are my senses,
Deaf in one ear.
To have another bad day,
Is my greatest fear.

hahaha. Sounds like my normal day. Good read, Jeff. Your rhythm-and-rhyme style appeals.

those bad days happen to us all. but if everyday was a good day and a bad day did come it would really be a bad day. it all balances out, this was a great piece.
