Back Up Plan
I wish I had a vision
Of how my life would be
Cause sure as hell
This dead end job
Is slowly killing me
I thought I was a rebel
I thought I was so cool
Didn’t need no education
Didn't need no stinking schools
I was going to be a rockstar
Do drugs play rock‘n’ roll
Drive fast cars
Date movie stars
Before life took its toll
But now I stack the gro-ceries
In the local store
This once young stud
Who was up to no good
Can be a rebel no more
So, to all you wanabee rock stars
Before you take your stand
Take my advice
Before you roll the dice
Make sure you got a back-up plan
