Back Together

Destiny stood at my door
When you knocked that night
Fate was sent in a unknown message
I was broken and tormented from lost times

Love was not on my mind
A friend was needed to help my mind
I saved myself in my dreams
Hundreds of sleeps I wept for life

You found my soul
A happening ago
Your hand took hold of mine
Your smile complimented the smile I gave

Without knowing you put me back together
Just simply fixed what had been broken
A torn heart that cried a thousand cries
A fire that had once run through my body

A mind that was tired of sorry
My voice that was never heard
You just gave me strength in yours
And a love that was strong in your being
